General Information

 

1.  Bachelor of Computer Applications course is a full-time 3 years' Degree course of the Gujarat University.

2.  Total number of seats are 180. Allocation of seats to various categories will be as per prevailing rules. However, the candidates applying for reserved seats SC/ST/SEBC must belong to Gujarat state only and the reservation will be as per the rules in force at the time of admission. Candidates claiming access to any one of these reservations categories must attach an attested copy of relevant certificate from appropriate authorities designated by the Government of Gujarat. Moreover, the SEBC candidates must enclose a copy of "Not Included in Creamy Layer" certificate obtained not earlier than 6 months from competent authoritites. Without such a certificate, they will be considered in the OPEN category.

 

Application Form

 

1.  The application form and information brochure will be available on payment of requisite fees.The timings and dates of acceptance of forms will be notified on the notice board.

 

Filling in of the Application Form

 

1.  The application form should be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting legibly and without overwriting.

2.  A passport size photograph of the applicant should be affixed at the place provided for it. It should be pasted properly and not just stamped or pinned.

3.  The candidate must attach certified true copies of the following documents with signature of the candidate and his parent at the back side. (Original documents should not be attached):

(a).  Mark sheet of H.S.C./C.B.S.E./I.S.C. Examination ( 12th Standard )

(b).  Mark sheet of S.S.C. Examination ( 10th Standard )

(c).  First attempt certificate of 12th Std.

(d).  School Leaving Certificate.

(e).  Caste Certificate ( if applicable )

(f).  Recently obtained "Not Included in Creamy Layer Certificate" for SEBC candidates.

(g).  Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by Gujarat University for CBSE/ISE/Other State Candidates.

(h).  Recent passport size photograph affixed on the application.
